Pro-Tech Becomes B Corp Certified Automotive Training Provider
Pro-Tech MOT & Automotive Academy has officially become a Certified B Corporation, becoming the first automotive training provider and first IMI-accredited centre in the world to achieve B Corp certification.
Following an extensive assessment process, Pro-Tech achieved a B Impact Score of 97.2, recognising the Academy’s commitment to high standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency.

What Does B Corp Certification Mean?
B Corp certification is awarded to businesses that meet rigorous standards across areas including governance, workers, community, environment and customers.
Unlike awards based on an individual project or achievement, B Corp certification assesses how a business operates as a whole — looking at the impact it has on its employees, customers, communities and the wider environment.
Businesses must achieve a minimum verified score through the B Impact Assessment to qualify for certification, with Pro-Tech achieving a score of 97.2.

Almost 12 Months in the Making

The process required Pro-Tech to examine and evidence how the business operates across multiple areas, from governance and employee practices to environmental impact and its relationship with customers and the wider community.
Following almost 12 months of work towards certification, achieving B Corp status provides independent recognition of the standards and values that underpin the Academy.
