About Our Class 5 MOT Training
Our Class 5 MOT Training is designed for existing MOT testers who want to extend their testing capability to Class 5 vehicles. The course provides the additional knowledge and practical skills required to carry out MOT tests on vehicles within this class in accordance with DVSA requirements.
Class 5 includes private passenger vehicles with 13 or more passenger seats, such as certain minibuses, coaches and ambulances. Because many Class 5 vehicles share testing requirements with Classes 4 and 7, this training is specifically focused on the additional requirements and differences testers need to understand when progressing to Class 5 testing.
Who is this for?
Our Class 5 MOT Training is ideal for:
- Existing MOT testers who want to extend their testing capability to Class 5 vehicles
- MOT testers working in workshops that maintain or test larger passenger vehicles
- Technicians working with vehicles such as minibuses, coaches and ambulances that fall within Class 5
- MOT businesses looking to expand the vehicle classes they are authorised to test
- Not sure whether you need Class 5? We can help you confirm which vehicle class and training route is appropriate before you book.
