ELECTRIC / HYBRID
Level 3 technical specialist in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle System Repair & Replacement (Award)
About Our Electric Vehicle Training
Our Level 3 Electric Vehicle Training is designed for technicians who need the knowledge and skills to work safely on electric and hybrid vehicles while carrying out diagnostic, testing and repair activities.
The Level 3 Technical Specialist in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle System Repair and Replacement (Award) builds on the knowledge and skills covered within Level 2 EV routine maintenance and develops the additional competence required when working on electric and hybrid vehicle high-voltage systems.
The qualification is particularly relevant for maintenance and repair technicians who may encounter electric and hybrid vehicles as part of their everyday role, including vehicles that have, or may have had, damage to their high-energy or electrical systems.
It complements a technician’s existing automotive qualifications and experience, enabling them to continue working safely as electric and hybrid vehicles become an increasingly common part of the vehicle parc.
