About This Accreditation
The IMI AOM230 ADAS Calibration Technician Accreditation is a practical, industry-recognised ADAS calibration qualification for experienced vehicle technicians. It assesses the skills and knowledge required to correctly calibrate Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS), including camera and radar-based systems found on modern vehicles.
Delivered over two days, the course covers both static and dynamic ADAS calibration, the correct use of calibration equipment and the application of manufacturer procedures. Successful completion demonstrates practical competence in carrying out ADAS calibration safely and accurately.
Who is this for?
This accreditation is suited to:
- Experienced technicians working with ADAS-equipped vehicles
- Bodyshops and windscreen repair centres offering camera or radar replacement
- Workshops adding ADAS calibration to their service menu
Why ADAS Calibration Training Matters
Following the replacement, repair or adjustment of components that affect an ADAS system, correct calibration can be critical to ensuring the vehicle’s safety systems operate as intended.
The AOM230 accreditation provides experienced technicians with the practical skills and recognised competence to carry out ADAS calibration using appropriate equipment and manufacturer procedures, supporting workshops looking to bring calibration capability in-house or develop their existing ADAS services.
